On behalf of my Client I am looking to recruit Support Workers and Team Leaders to join their new 16-18 service, based in Southport.
The service supports Young People that have had a background of emotional behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviours. The service will be able to support up to 4 young people.
As a Support Worker you will be responsible for supporting the young people as they begin their transition away from residential services for Children, in the aim of helping them become more independent, making sure they are safe and supporting with tasks and responsibilities of Adult life.
Basic Support Worker pay starts at £17,500 and the basic Team Leader pay is up to £22,000.
+ £65 per sleep.
Shift patterns will be working 2 on, 4 off, working out around 12 sleeps a month.
Contracted hours are 40, however, they will consider people who want part time hours.
We also have Waking Nights positions available on the same pay, working block shifts and block rest days, usually 3 on, 4 off, or 4 of, 4 off.
Adding the basic pay to sleep in rate means a Senior can earn up to £31,000 and a Support Worker can earn up to £26,500

- Experience in a similar setting, supporting people with challenging behaviours
- NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People is desirable.
- Drivers and portable DBS' are desirable.
