Support Worker - Waking Nights - Autism
We are looking for suitably experienced Waking Night Support Workers to work within a specialist educational residential setting based in Leyland near Preston supporting Children and Young People who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs.
As a member of the night residential care team you will strive to bring out the best in every young person by supporting and guiding them and assisting them in completion of general tasks, including morning and night time routines.
The service that we are recruiting support workers for are part of a nationwide organisation that offers career progression and training to employees
The service itself is a Residential Home that is linked with a nearby specialist school.
To apply you will ideally need the following:- Minimum 6 months experience caring for Children in a residential setting- Patience and understanding of learning disabilities / autism and challenging behaviours
