We are currently recruiting for experienced Support Workers to join a Children's Services organisation in the Birmingham area.
You would be supporting young people with EBD and challenging behaviour within a 3 bedded residential home.
Locations: Handsworth Wood and Sheldon.
Salary: Up to £17,126 per year plus sleep in allowance.
Permanent and Full-Time role - 39hrs a week.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be a key member of the team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to the young people. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting them in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative are vital.
- Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour.
- The ability to work a shift rota system that includes working some weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Must have had a Full UK Driving Licence for three years.
