I am currently recruiting for a leading Social Care organisation that offers independent behavioural care for commissioners across the UK. My Client has over 100 high quality schools, colleges and homes.
The position that I am recruiting for is for a Teaching Assistant to join an independent specialist day and residential school for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs and challenging behaviour.
The aim is to bring about the best in every young person to enable them to achieve positive experiences and progress according to their own individual abilities. The desired outcome is for young people to achieve success in accredited qualifications and to gain increased levels of independence to enable them to maximise their strengths, abilities and ambitions.
The schools aim is to have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant at Progress School. The successful candidate will undertake education support duties and assist the class teacher in the day to day needs of the pupils in their care, to enable the teacher to implement the curriculum and respond to the pupils' needs. To maintain complete confidentiality on all site matters. The successful candidate will have an NVQ3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Pay is £8.00 p/h +
Hours 37.5 per week term time only
