This fantastic special education needs school in Rhondda Cynon Taf have tasked us with finding a specialist teaching assistant for one-to-one role starting January 2020.
The role itself requires a female teaching assistant with experience of working one-to-one with pupils with complex ASD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and selective mutism.
Due to the nature of the role the school can only accept applications from female teaching assistants (genuine occupational requirement)
The successful teaching assistant will be working with a teenage female learner who requires one-to-one support on a daily basis. As well as supporting the learner with her work the successful teaching assistant will also be required to provide emotional support and assist with day to day tasks outside of the classroom (during break times)
We have been supporting this school for the past three years and our working relationship has gone from strength to strength. We supply a number of specialist SEND staff to the school on both long term assignments and ad hoc day to day cover.

To be considered for this role you will:
- Have a minimum of 3 months experience (where we can obtain a reference) of working with children in a SEND environment - Specifically ASD/PTSD
- Have a fully enhanced DBS (on the Update service) - ability to obtain a new one
- Have references covering the last two years (no gaps)
- EWC registration (School support worker)
- Right to work in the UK
