Ystrad - RCT

£60 - £65 per day

Vetro Education and this Special school in Ystrad, RCT have a fantastic working relationship and following two extremely busy terms this academic year, the relationship has gone from strength to strength.

At the school, the needs are varied and as a result they require extremely specialist staff to fully support the learners on a daily basis One specific area that the school require assistance with at present is the provision of Teaching Assistants who specialise in working the learners with complex medical needs. Teaching Assistants with the following experience would be of interest to the school to support with both full and part time roles:

- Tracheostomy care
- Seizure Management
- Medication by injection or rectal suppository
- Administering suction
- Tube feeding
- Specialised medical procedures

Vetro Education are working with SEND schools on a weekly basis and these schools regularly require staff booked on block/ long term bookings as well as more casual schedules (flexible hours are available)


Minimum of 3 months experience of working with children in an SEND environment - Specifically complex medical needs
Fully enhanced DBS (on the Update service) - ability to obtain a new one
References covering the last three years (no gaps)
EWC registration (School support worker)
Right to work in the UK
