We are currently recruiting Waking Nights residential Support Workers to work with students providing care and support to promote their independence and personal development in all areas of their life. We have a 24-hour rota and shifts are available for day, evening and waking nights. We are looking for enthusiastic, talented support workers.

Our Client is a leading organisation in the UK offering independent behavioural care for commissioners across the UK. With over 100 high quality schools, colleges and homes we focus on making a real and lasting difference for everyone we support.

Residential support staff promote learning in the evenings and weekends during all extended curriculum activities, and during the weekdays will accompany the students into college lessons and provide support under the direction of the teacher.

The successful candidate will show a strong commitment to providing an excellent service, and a good understanding of the value and importance of educational opportunities for all young people.

Level 3 Diploma/award in Health and Social Care (or an agreement to work towards this qualification in-house) is essential for this position.

Experience of working with young people with learning difficulties and disabilities is desirable and experience of working in an educational environment would also be an advantage.
