Ward Manager - RMN

I am looking to appoint an experienced Ward Manager to join a specialist, psychiatric rehabilitation service based in Worcestershire. The service provides care for adult males who endure mental illnesses or personality disorders. Also supporting the needs of both detained and voluntary patients and can manage patients with complex needs, including those with a history of offending.

Location: Malvern Wells, Worcestershire

Permanent : Full Time position

Salary: £40,000.00

Hours: 37.5 per week

In your new role as Ward Manager, you will be providing Clinical Management and Leadership of the full nursing team on the Ward. This includes being a highly visible role model and mentor to the nursing team.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for overseeing and maintaining the highest standards of nursing care. The role will act as a senior clinical member of the team, providing advice and support from a nursing perspective and oversee and hold responsibility for the ward environment

Role of Ward Manager

  • Current NMC Registration as a first level nurse
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role
  • 5 years post registration
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding Clinical Leadership and standards
  • Willingness to complete further clinical, managerial and leadership training and development relevant to your area of practice in management and leadership.
  • Trained and current Mentor
