Job Description:
An established specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Children's Registered Manager to lead a residential care home in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in children's social care to oversee daily operations, ensure OFSTED compliance, and support young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). The Children's Residential Care Home Manager will work closely with the Responsible Individual (RI) and senior management to maintain high standards of care and safety within the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the safe management of a children's residential care home in Bradford, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations.
- Hold and maintain OFSTED registration for the children's home.
- Lead and develop a team of residential staff, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers.
- Recruit, manage, and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Work with senior management to implement company policies and procedures.
- Manage quality assurance processes and ensure continuous improvement.
- Oversee the service's budget and resource allocation.
- Ensure the residential service provides a safe, nurturing environment for young people with EBD.
- Participate in on-call duties and work full-time, Monday to Friday, within a supportive and progressive organisation.
Requirements:
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
- Experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager within children's residential care.
- Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and external agencies.
- Commitment to providing high standards of care and safeguarding.
