Job Description: Our client, a leading specialist provider in social care, is seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join their team in the Vale of Glamorgan. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children and young people in a residential setting. The role involves providing overnight care and support to children and young people aged 11-18, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the night. If you have experience working with young people or within a social care environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide overnight support and supervision to children and young people in a residential setting
Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during the night shift
Support with personal care and emotional needs as required
Maintain accurate records of overnight activities and incidents
Promote a positive and nurturing environment for children and young people
Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality care
Requirements:
Experience working with young people or in a social care setting
Must hold a valid UK driver’s licence
Over the age of 21
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work overnight shifts from 8:30pm to 8:30am, 35 hours per week
