Vetro Education is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Caerphilly that is looking for a compassionate and capable Teaching Assistant to support learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and Special Educational Needs (SEN).

You’ll support pupils across the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, delivering meaningful 1:1 and small group support that helps children feel seen, heard, and set up for success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing 1:1 and group support for pupils with ALN/SEN

• Assisting the class teacher in adapting resources and planning tailored support

• Helping pupils with emotional, behavioural, and sensory needs stay engaged and included

• Contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom culture

• Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress in collaboration with teaching staff

Who We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 months' experience supporting children with ALN/SEN

• A calm, empathetic and patient approach to supporting young learners

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

• A willingness to undertake further training and development

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (or willingness to register)

• Right to work in the UK
