Vetro Recruitment proudly supports BulliesOut.
Bullying has become an increasingly organised problem in the UK and unfortunately, it is not decreasing. Bullies Out UK is a charity that was established in 2006 to empower young people to overcome bullying and to help educators, parents, and community members foster anti-bullying environments.
At Vetro, we're proud to be a corporate partner of Bullies Out UK since 2017. We've been actively supporting the organisation, and we've chosen them as our charity of the year. Bullies Out works hard to create a safe, respectful and anti-bullying environment for everyone, with their mission to make a positive change within schools, workplaces, cyber, and communities; tackling bullying, hatred, and discrimination in all its forms, and this is something we strive for within our own workplace. We are passionate about creating a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
Bullies Out is a charity that resonates with us and our values here at Vetro Recruitment. Specialising in the health, social care, and education sectors, it only feels right that we back an organisation that is dedicated to ensuring everyone can live a life free from bullying. We're proud to recruit for sectors that have a huge impact on people's lives! From carers to support workers and teaching assistants, these people help others to reach their full potential, and Vetro supports that by working with a charity that also helps to have a genuine impact on the lives of children, young people, and adults who are affected by and concerned about bullying behaviour - adopting the nature of our workforce.
Over the past 6 years, we have hosted many fundraising events, from Halloween bake sales, static cycle rides, and half marathons to curry and quiz nights and eating a full out-of-date cheesecake!

52 Peaks in 52 Weeks
Back in July 2022, team Vetro committed to the biggest challenge to date in aid of Bullies Out. We have been taking on the incredible challenge of climbing 52 Peaks in 52 Weeks!
52 weeks in and we have completed 52 amazing climbs; from Pen-Y-Fan to conquering the highest point in Wales (Snowdon), we have seen some spectacular views. We have walked hundreds of miles through ice, snow, rain (lots of rain), and occasionally sunshine. It has been an incredible journey, from the first peak to the last, but the challenge isn't over yet, we still need your help to reach our goal! If you would like to support putting an end to bullying, please donate now!
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us on the journey, from our sponsors to our family and friends, and clients and candidates. Without your incredible support, we wouldn't have been able to do it!
