Location: Bishops Castle, Shropshire
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on 8 off - All shifts, sleep-ins are required

An opportunity has arisen with a leading specialist provider to join as a Children's Residential Activity Worker in Bishops Castle, Shropshire. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic, resilient, and driven to support young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

As a Children's Residential Activity Worker, you will support young people in a dynamic environment, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and behaviourally within a safe and caring setting. Your role will involve mentoring, encouraging, and engaging with young people to foster their growth and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support young people with EBD in a residential setting, promoting their social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Engage young people in outdoor activities such as rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, and raft building
- Foster a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children and young people
- Encourage positive behaviour and help young people develop life skills
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality care and activities
Requirements:
- Experience as a Children's Support Worker or in social care working with young people (desirable)
- Must hold a full driving license, as transportation of young people is required
- Over the age of 22 (essential)
- NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People (desirable)
