Job Title: Adults Learning Disability Support Worker
Location: Hengoed, South Wales, UK
Salary: £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holidays)

Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking experienced Adults Learning Disability Support Workers in Hengoed. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with learning and mobility difficulties. As a Support Worker in Hengoed, you will deliver compassionate, person-centred care to support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, helping them achieve greater independence and community integration. Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism spectrum conditions.
• Observe, monitor, and accurately record patient conditions and progress.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, food preparation, and community access.
• Support individuals through their care pathway to promote independence.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored care plans.
• Treat each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience working within a social care setting.
• Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
• The right to work in the UK.
