Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Adult Learning Disability Support Workers to join a leading specialist provider in Cosheston. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic care and support to residents with Autism and complex needs
  • Observe, monitor, and record residents’ conditions accurately
  • Assist individuals through their care pathway to promote independence
  • Treat each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty
  • Collaborate with a multi-professional team to deliver personalised care
  • Support residents with daily activities and behavioural needs

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience working within a social care setting
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to pay for practical training (PBM, Manual Handling, Buccal) if not already completed
  • Willingness to complete online training (free of charge)
