Location: Saint Athan, Wales
Salary: £13.68 per hour (including holiday pay)

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Workers to join a leading specialist provider supporting adults with learning disabilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a rewarding environment, helping individuals with autism spectrum conditions and complex needs to lead more independent lives. Whether working in residential, supported living, or day services, you will play a vital role in supporting service users through their care pathways and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments
• Promoting independence and encouraging development of life skills
• Building positive relationships with service users, families, and team members
• Participating in engaging activities like walks, games, music sessions, arts & crafts, and more
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and helping individuals achieve their personal goals
• Ensuring safety, dignity, and well-being of all individuals in your care
• Observing, monitoring, and recording residents' conditions

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to work above 24 hours per week
• A driver’s license is essential, with access to your own vehicle for supporting residents in the community
