Salary: £13.68 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Adult Learning Disability Support Workers to join a leading specialist provider in Cardiff. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments. Whether you're looking for temporary work or a pathway to a permanent position, this role as an Adult Learning Disability Support Worker in Cardiff provides flexible shifts and a supportive environment to develop your career in social care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic care and support to adults with Autism and complex needs.
  • Observe, monitor, and record residents' conditions accurately.
  • Assist residents through their care pathway to promote independence.
  • Treat each individual with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of multi-professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting.
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to pay for practical training (PBM, Manual Handling, Buccal) unless already certified.
  • Willingness to complete online training (free of charge).
