Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker – Adult Care Services
Location: Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales
Salary: £13.68 per hour (including holiday pay)

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Disability Support Workers to join a leading specialist provider supporting adults with learning disabilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within residential, supported living, or day services, helping individuals achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. As a Learning Disability Support Worker in Llantrisant, you will play a vital role in supporting service users aged 18 and upwards with autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments
• Promoting independence and encouraging the development of life skills
• Building positive relationships with service users, their families, and team members
• Participating in engaging activities like walks, games, music sessions, arts & crafts, and more
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and helping individuals achieve their personal goals
• Ensuring the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every individual in your care
• Observing, monitoring, and recording service user conditions

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to work above 24 hours per week
• A valid driver’s license is essential for supporting residents in the community, such as attending activities or hobbies
