Salary: £13.68 - £25 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Shifts: Night shifts 

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Adult Learning Disability Support Worker to join a dedicated team in Clydach. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments. Whether you're seeking temporary work or a pathway to a permanent position, this role provides a supportive environment to develop your skills and grow your career in social care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic care and support to residents with Autism and complex needs
  • Observe, monitor, and record residents’ conditions accurately
  • Treat each individual with dignity, compassion, and honesty
  • Assist residents through a care pathway to promote independence
  • Work collaboratively with a team of multi-professionals to deliver personalised care

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience working within a social care setting
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Possess a full UK driving licence
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Ability to pay for practical training (PBM, Manual Handling, Buccal) unless already certified
  • Willingness to complete online training (free of charge)
