Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with daily tasks including cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments
- Promote independence and encourage the development of life skills
- Build positive relationships with service users, their families, and team members
- Support and engage individuals in activities such as walks, games, music sessions, and arts & crafts
- Support emotional wellbeing and help individuals achieve personal goals
- Ensure the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every individual in your care
- Observe, monitor, and record residents’ conditions accurately
Requirements:
- At least 6 months’ experience working within a social care setting
- A current Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to pay for one
- The right to work in the UK
- Ability to work above 24 hours per week
- A driver’s licence is essential for supporting residents in the community, including attending activities or hobbies
