Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker
Location: Pontyclun, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales
Salary: £14.24 per hour (including holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments
• Promoting independence and encouraging the development of life skills
• Building positive relationships with service users, their families, and team members
• Participating in engaging activities including walks, games, music sessions, arts & crafts, and more
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and helping individuals achieve their personal goals
• Ensuring the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every individual in your care
• Observing, monitoring, and recording residents’ conditions accurately

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to pay for one
• The right to work in the UK
• Ability to work above 24 hours per week
• A driver’s licence is essential for supporting residents in the community, such as attending activities or hobbies
