Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker 
Location: Tonyrefail, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales
Salary: £14.24 per hour (including holiday pay)

The Learning Disability Support Worker position in Tonyrefail is ideal for those committed to delivering high-quality care and support to adults aged 18 and upwards with autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments
• Promoting independence and encouraging development of life skills
• Building positive relationships with service users, families, and team members
• Participating in engaging activities like walks, games, music sessions, arts & crafts, and more
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and helping individuals achieve their personal goals
• Ensuring safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every individual in your care
• Observing, monitoring, and recording residents' conditions

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to work above 24 hours per week
• A driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are essential for supporting residents in the community and attending activities
