Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker
Location: Outskirts of Tonyrefail, Wales
Salary: £14.24 per hour (including holiday pay)

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Disability Support Workers to join a leading specialist provider in the Outskirts of Tonyrefail. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and complex needs. As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital part in helping residents progress through personalised care pathways, promoting independence, and supporting their integration into the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing therapeutic care and support to adults (18+) with autistic spectrum conditions and complex needs
• Observing, monitoring, and accurately recording residents’ conditions and progress
• Treating each individual with dignity, compassion, and honesty
• Assisting residents through their care pathway to maximise independence
• Supporting residents in community activities, including hobbies and outings (driver’s licence and access to own vehicle required)

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of experience working within a social care setting
• Empathetic, caring, and resilient attitude
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
• Essential: Full UK Driver’s Licence and access to own vehicle
