Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Manager in Caernarfon, your daily duties will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of two support services, ensuring high standards of person-centred care.
- Leading, motivating, and developing a team of support workers to deliver quality support aligned with organisational values.
- Conducting regular reviews of support plans, risk assessments, and service delivery to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Building positive relationships with stakeholders, including families, social workers, and external partners.
- Managing incident safeguarding concerns, staff rotas, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Supporting staff training, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Service Manager, you will need:
- A Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (or actively working towards it).
- Proven experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities in a social care setting.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and multiple services.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to influence others.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with willingness to travel for meetings and activities.
- Welsh language skills are desirable to effectively communicate with Welsh-speaking service users.
