Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker – Caerleon, Newport

Location: Caerleon, Newport

Salary: £13.68 per hour (inclusive of holidays)

Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Learning Disability Support Workers for a leading specialist provider in Caerleon, Newport. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults with learning and mobility difficulties. As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will deliver compassionate care, support independence, and help individuals progress through personalized care pathways. Immediate starts are available for this rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, food preparation, and community access
• Observe, monitor, and record patient conditions accurately
• Support individuals in their journey towards greater independence
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care

Requirements:

• Passion for creating positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs
• Empathetic, caring, and resilient personality
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a social care setting
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Full UK driving license preferred but not essential
• Manual Handling training preferred (training available at £25 per course)
• Right to work in the UK
