As a Learning Disability Support Worker in Brackla, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with autism spectrum conditions and complex needs lead more independent lives. Whether working in residential, supported living, or day services, you will assist residents through their care pathways, promoting independence and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments
• Promote independence and encourage development of life skills
• Build positive relationships with service users, families, and team members
• Participate in engaging activities like walks, games, music sessions, arts & crafts, and more
• Support emotional wellbeing and help individuals achieve their personal goals
• Ensure safety, dignity, and well-being of all individuals in your care
• Observe, monitor, and record residents' conditions accurately

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a social care setting
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to work above 24 hours per week
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, as supporting residents in the community may be required
