Salary: £88.92 per day (minimum) — competitive daily rate for ongoing contract

A leading specialist provider of educational staffing is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taf. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the foundation phase and support children’s early learning development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to assist the Class Teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
• Support individual pupils and small groups to help improve literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom organisation.
• Support the emotional and behavioural development of pupils, ensuring a safe and respectful classroom setting.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to fostering a nurturing environment for young learners.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible and reliable attitude to full-time working hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm).
