Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a reputable primary school in Merthyr Tydfil. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for dedicated individuals to support the foundation phase of early education. The successful candidate will work closely with the Class Teacher to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for young learners. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general classroom support to ensure smooth daily operations
- Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to deliver engaging lessons
- Support the development of inclusive learning environments for all pupils
- Assist with classroom management and student behaviour
- Support individual and group activities to enhance learning outcomes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Primary School Teaching Assistant, particularly in the foundation phase
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom
- Flexibility and reliability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
