Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary School Teaching Assistant based in Caerphilly, your daily duties will include:

• Providing effective support within the classroom to facilitate a positive learning environment
• Collaborating closely with the Class Teacher to deliver tailored support based on individual student needs
• Assisting with classroom management and promoting student engagement
• Supporting the development of pupils in the foundation phase, fostering social, emotional, and academic growth
• Preparing resources and assisting with lesson activities as directed by the teacher
• Promoting inclusive learning practices and creating a safe, welcoming space for all pupils

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• Previous experience working with primary school children, especially in the foundation phase
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic classroom setting
• Relevant DBS check or willingness to undertake one (if applicable)
