Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant – Foundation Phase | Full-Time, Long-Term Role

We are partnering with a dedicated primary school in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf, seeking a motivated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective support within the classroom to facilitate a positive learning environment.
• Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver tailored support based on individual student needs.
• Assist with classroom management and encourage student engagement.
• Support the development of pupils in the foundation phase, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Prepare resources and assist with lesson activities as directed by the teacher.
• Promote inclusive learning practices and foster a safe, welcoming space for all pupils.

Ideal Candidate Skills & Requirements:

• Previous experience working with primary school children, particularly within the foundation phase.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic classroom setting.
• Relevant DBS check or willingness to undertake one (if applicable).
