Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Teaching Assistant with British Sign Language Level 2/3 to join a welcoming primary school in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to support a nursery pupil through 1:1 assistance, fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. The successful candidate will work effectively within a team, building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff, while promoting high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a nursery pupil with additional learning needs.
• Assist in delivering high-quality teaching and learning activities.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
• Contribute to the broader life of the school community.
• Support the development of BSL communication skills across the school.
• Work in a nurturing manner to encourage and motivate children.

Requirements:

• British Sign Language Level 2/3 qualification.
• Experience working in schools and supporting children with additional learning needs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to high standards.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
• Willingness to contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment.
