Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking dedicated Care Assistants to join their team in delivering exceptional person-centred care within a reputable care home. This Care Assistant role in the Swansea area offers an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to make a positive impact on residents' lives while enjoying a supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and respectful care to residents, supporting their daily needs
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support residents with mobility and daily activities
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Foster a warm, friendly, and respectful environment for residents
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high standards of care are maintained
Requirements:
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 qualification in social care
- Registered with Social Care Wales
- Highly motivated and reliable
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Flexible to cover shifts as required, including weekends and evenings
- Trustworthy, friendly, and able to work as part of a team
- Good sense of humour and positive attitude
- Ability to provide a wide range of basic care needs to residents
