We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic, resilient, and committed individual who genuinely wants to improve the lives of people within their own home. Your role will be to help them develop socially, emotionally, and behaviourally, all within a safe and caring environment.

No two days are the same as a Care Assistant so you need to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing setting. It's challenging work, but incredibly gratifying!

  • Salary: £25,000 to £28,000
  • Pay Rates: Weekdays £12.85 per hour, Weekends £13 per hour, Weekends £15.10 per hour  
  • Location: Merthyr Tydfil 
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract: Full Time
  • Shift Pattern: TBD, but ideally, you will be able to work every other weekend

Responsibilities

  • As a Support Worker, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Providing hands-on support with personal care and daily living tasks.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior staff members.
  • Medication management and administration.
  • Building positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Support Worker, with a desire to progress into a senior role.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care) is highly desirable.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
  • A genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive impact.
