Rate of Pay: £13.38 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) with 0.45p per mile milage

Our client are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join their team in the areas of Torfean, Blaenau Gwent, Merthyr, and Caerphilly. As a Care Assistant, you will make a real difference in the lives of our clients by supporting them with daily tasks, personal hygiene needs, and offering emotional and physical care in their home to enhance their quality of life and promote their independence. Please note that are single runs meaning you would not be paired up with other staff members. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

• Provide mobility support and help with transfers to ensure safety and comfort.

• Offer emotional and physical support, promoting well-being and independence.

• Support with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and dietary requirements.

• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health and well-being to the healthcare team.

• Document and update client care plans regularly.

Essential Requirements:

• You must have the Right to Work in the UK (we are not able to offer Health and Care Worker visas).

• A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle (35p per mile reimbursement).

• Practical manual handling certification (if you do not have this, we offer training at a subsidised price in our Caerphilly office).

• A willingness to undergo any further training to meet the needs of our clients.

• Female applicants only due to the nature of the role.
