Job Title: Children’s Deputy Home Manager

Salary: Up to £43,000 (plus £60 per sleep-in shift)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Children’s Deputy Home Manager to join the management team of an existing children’s residential care home in Bradford. This Children’s Deputy Home Manager role supports the Registered Manager in ensuring the home is safely managed, fully compliant with Ofsted and company standards, and focused on delivering effective, child-centred support for every young person.
This Children’s Deputy Home Manager position is based in Bradford within a wider children’s services organisation, offering a range of services across the North West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of a 4-bedded residential care home in Bradford
- Help ensure the home meets Ofsted and internal company standards, maintaining safe and effective care
- Manage and update care plans to ensure they remain current, accurate, and child-focused
- Work with the manager to support, develop, and manage the staff team
- Contribute to a positive, professional culture that prioritises outcomes for young people
Requirements:
- Senior or Deputy Manager experience within children’s residential care
- A full driving licence (required for the Children’s Deputy Home Manager role in Bradford)
Working Pattern:
- Full-time, permanent contract
- 3-week set rolling rota with a one-in-three weekend 10:00–22:00 shift (16 hours) plus sleep-in from 23:00–07:00
