Job Title: Children's Home Deputy Manager
Location: Warrington, Cheshire, UK
Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum
Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Deputy Manager to join their Warrington-based service. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a newly established children’s home that supports children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours. The Deputy Manager will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home operates safely and effectively, providing high-quality care and support to children and young people. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a supportive environment, with responsibilities including deputising during the manager’s absence and assisting with staff management and recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the children’s home in Warrington.
- Deputise as the manager during periods of absence.
- Assist with managing and recruiting a dedicated staff team.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people in Warrington.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Promote a positive, nurturing environment that encourages growth and development.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.
- Previous experience in a team leader or deputy management role within a children’s home.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
