Job Title: Registered Children’s Home Manager (EBD)

Job Description:
Are you an experienced and ambitious leader ready to launch and establish a brand-new EBD service in Nottingham? We are seeking a dedicated Registered Children’s Home Manager to create an exceptional therapeutic environment and ensure outstanding, Ofsted-compliant care from day one. As the Registered Children’s Home Manager for this new service, you will play a key role in setting standards, building the team, and delivering safe, effective outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full operational, regulatory, and financial ownership of the new home as the Registered Children’s Home Manager
- Lead Ofsted registration for the new service, formally registering as the manager
- Work closely with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure the home is safe, effective, and meets all Ofsted and company standards
- Recruit, manage, and develop the staff team, fostering a culture of excellence as the Registered Children’s Home Manager
- Manage home budgets and oversee the referral process to support consistent service delivery in Nottingham
- Ensure the service is established with strong compliance, governance, and safeguarding practices from day one
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting
- A valid UK Driving Licence
- Strong leadership capability to establish and embed high standards as the Registered Children’s Home Manager in Nottingham
