Job Title: Children’s Home Manager (Registered Manager / Deputy Manager)

Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE)
Job Description:
Are you an experienced Children’s Home Manager ready to lead a supportive, child-focused service in Leeds? This role is open to both Deputy Managers looking for the next step and experienced Registered Managers joining a forward-thinking provider. The children’s home is currently rated Good by OFSTED, and you’ll play a key role in maintaining safe, effective care and strong outcomes for children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of a children’s home in Leeds as a Children’s Home Manager
- Ensure the safe and effective management of the service, supporting children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours
- Work with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure compliance with OFSTED and company standards
- Manage safeguarding concerns in line with policy and best practice
- Recruit, develop and supervise the staff team to ensure consistent, child-focused support
- Create positive outcomes for children and young people through effective leadership and oversight
- Manage the home’s budget and contribute to service improvement
Requirements:
- Level 5 in leadership and management
- Level 3 in children and young people
- Driving Licence
- Deputy or Registered Manager experience
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and OFSTED compliance
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team within a children’s home setting in Leeds
