Job Title: Registered Manager – Solo Children’s Home

Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead the launch of a new, single-bed children’s home in Pudsey, Bradford. This unique role offers the opportunity to build a therapeutic environment tailored to the needs of a young person with learning disabilities. As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the entire setup, operational launch, and ongoing management of this innovative service, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the complete setup and operational launch of the children’s home in Pudsey.
- Develop and implement specialised, personalised care plans for the young person.
- Recruit, train, and lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional, person-centred support.
- Manage daily operations, including budgeting, referrals, and service delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintain high standards of safety and therapeutic care.
- Collaborate with families, health professionals, and external agencies to provide holistic support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a children’s residential setting.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate a small team.
- Excellent organisational and operational management skills.
