Job Title: Registered Children’s Home Manager (EBD)

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 (DOE)
Job Description:
Are you an experienced and ambitious leader ready to launch and establish a brand-new EBD service in Nottingham? We are seeking a dedicated Registered Children’s Home Manager to create an exceptional therapeutic environment and ensure outstanding, Ofsted-compliant care from day one. As the Registered Children’s Home Manager in Nottingham, you will play a key role in setting up the service, building strong foundations, and driving high standards across every area of delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full operational, regulatory, and financial ownership of the new home as the Registered Children’s Home Manager in Nottingham
- Ofsted Registration: Formally register with Ofsted as the manager for the new service
- Compliance & Safety: Work closely with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure the home is safe, effective, and meets all Ofsted and company standards
- Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and develop the staff team, fostering a culture of excellence
- Operational Management: Manage home budgets and oversee the referral process
- Ensure the service is established to deliver consistent outcomes as a Registered Children’s Home Manager in Nottingham
Requirements:
- Qualification: NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
- Experience: Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting
- Driving: Valid UK Driving Licence
- Strong leadership capability to support a new service and embed best practice as the Registered Children’s Home Manager in Nottingham
