Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Children’s Home Registered Manager to lead a dedicated residential service in Preston. This Children’s Home Registered Manager role in Preston offers the opportunity to drive high standards of care, strengthen safeguarding practice, and ensure the home operates in line with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of a children’s home in Preston as the Children’s Home Registered Manager
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and inspection readiness for the Children’s Home Registered Manager role in Preston
  • Oversee safeguarding processes, risk management, and incident reporting
  • Promote a positive, child-centred culture and ensure care plans are implemented effectively
  • Manage recruitment, training, supervision, and performance of staff within the home
  • Maintain accurate records, policies, and documentation to support quality and compliance
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to support children’s education, health, and wellbeing
  • Drive continuous improvement, including audits and action planning for the Children’s Home Registered Manager position in Preston

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior role within residential childcare, with leadership responsibility
  • Registered Manager experience or the ability to register (where applicable) for a Children’s Home Registered Manager role in Preston
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, care planning, and regulatory expectations
  • Demonstrable ability to lead teams, manage performance, and support staff development
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • A commitment to high-quality care and measurable outcomes for children
  • Ability to manage operational, compliance, and quality priorities in Preston as the Children’s Home Registered Manager
