Job Title: Children’s Home Manager (Registered Manager / Deputy Manager)

Job Description:
Are you an experienced Children’s Home Manager ready to lead a service that supports children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours? This Children’s Home Manager role in Chesterfield offers a full-time, permanent opportunity for either Deputy Managers seeking the next step or experienced Registered Managers. The service is currently rated Good by OFSTED, and you’ll work closely with the Responsible Individual (RI) to maintain compliance and deliver positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of a children’s home as a Children’s Home Manager in Chesterfield
- Ensure the safe and effective management of the home, supporting children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours
- Work with the RI to ensure the service is compliant with OFSTED and company standards
- Manage safeguarding concerns in line with relevant procedures and best practice
- Recruit, develop and supervise the staff team to ensure child-focused support and positive outcomes
- Manage the home’s budget effectively and responsibly
- Maintain strong leadership and governance as a Children’s Home Manager in Chesterfield
Requirements:
- Experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a children’s home (Children’s Home Manager experience in Chesterfield is essential)
- Level 5 in leadership and management
- Level 3 in children and young people
- Full driving licence
- Commitment to safeguarding, compliance, and delivering high-quality care
