Job Title: Children’s Home Manager (Registered Manager / Deputy Manager)

Salary: Up to £60,000 + bonuses + £7,500 starting bonus
Job Description:
Are you an experienced Children’s Home Manager ready to lead a supportive, forward-thinking service in Leicester? This Children’s Home Manager role is open to both Deputy Managers looking for the next step and experienced Registered Managers. You will be responsible for the safe, effective running of a children’s home currently rated Good by OFSTED, supporting children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of a children’s home as a Children’s Home Manager in Leicester
- Support children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours, ensuring child-focused outcomes
- Work with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure compliance with OFSTED and company standards
- Manage safeguarding concerns in line with relevant policies and procedures
- Recruit, develop, and supervise the staff team to maintain high standards of care
- Ensure the home’s budget is managed effectively
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment that promotes positive development for every young person
Requirements:
- Experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager (relevant Children’s Home Manager experience)
- Level 5 qualification in leadership and management
- Level 3 qualification in children and young people
- Full driving licence
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and OFSTED compliance
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team within a children’s home setting
