Job Title: Children’s Home Manager (Registered Manager / Deputy Manager)

Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE)
Job Description:
Are you an experienced Children’s Home Manager ready to lead a team and make a real difference for children and young people? This Children’s Home Manager role in Liverpool is open to both Deputy Managers looking for the next step and experienced Registered Managers joining a forward-thinking provider. The service is currently rated Good by OFSTED, and you will play a key role in maintaining safe, effective care and strong outcomes for children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of a children’s home as a Children’s Home Manager in Liverpool
- Support children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours, ensuring child-focused care and positive outcomes
- Work with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure the service is compliant with OFSTED and company standards
- Manage safeguarding concerns in line with relevant policies and procedures
- Recruit, develop and supervise the staff team to ensure consistent, high-quality support
- Manage the home’s budget effectively
- Maintain safe and effective management as a Children’s Home Manager in Liverpool
Requirements:
- Level 5 in leadership and management
- Level 3 in children and young people
- Driving Licence
- Deputy or Registered Manager experience
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and OFSTED compliance expectations
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team while maintaining high standards of care
