Job Title: Children's Home Manager
Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire, UK
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Children's Home Manager in Loughborough to oversee the safe and effective operation of a children’s residential service. This is an excellent opportunity for both Deputy Managers seeking career progression and experienced Registered Managers looking to join a forward-thinking organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care, compliance with OFSTED regulations, and fostering positive outcomes for children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s home in Loughborough, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
- Support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, providing child-focused support.
- Work closely with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure the service remains compliant with OFSTED standards and company policies.
- Manage safeguarding concerns effectively and ensure all staff adhere to safeguarding protocols.
- Recruit, develop, and supervise staff teams to maintain high-quality care standards.
- Oversee the home’s budget, ensuring financial efficiency and resource management.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the service’s compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
- Level 3 in Children and Young People.
- Valid driving licence.
- Experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager within children’s services.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.
