Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Children’s Home Manager to lead a children’s home in St Helens. This Children’s Home Manager role is ideal for Deputy Managers ready for the next step, or experienced Registered Managers looking to join a forward-thinking provider. The Children’s Home Manager position in St Helens offers a full-time, permanent contract and the opportunity to make a real difference for children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the safe and effective running of a children’s home in St Helens as a Children’s Home Manager
- Support children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours, ensuring consistent, child-focused care
- Work with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure compliance with OFSTED and company standards for the Children’s Home Manager role in St Helens
- Lead, recruit, develop and supervise the staff team to create positive outcomes for children
- Manage safeguarding concerns in line with relevant policies and procedures
- Oversee the home’s budget, ensuring effective use of resources
Requirements:
- Level 5 in leadership and management
- Level 3 in children and young people
- Driving Licence
- Experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
