Job Title: Children’s Home Manager (Registered Manager / Deputy Manager)
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom
Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE)

Job Description:
Are you an experienced Children’s Home Manager ready to lead a service that supports children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours? This Children’s Home Manager role in Rochdale offers a full-time, permanent opportunity for both Deputy Managers looking for the next step and experienced Registered Managers joining a forward-thinking provider. The service is currently rated Good by OFSTED, and you’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance, improving outcomes, and leading a dedicated staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day management of a children’s home in Rochdale as a Children’s Home Manager
• Support children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours, ensuring child-focused care and positive outcomes
• Work with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure the service is compliant with OFSTED and company standards
• Manage safeguarding concerns in line with relevant policies and procedures
• Recruit, develop, supervise, and support the staff team to deliver high-quality care
• Manage the home’s budget effectively and responsibly
• Ensure the service continues to meet and exceed expectations as a Children’s Home Manager in Rochdale

Requirements:

• Experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager (Children’s Home Manager experience essential)
• Level 5 in leadership and management
• Level 3 in children and young people
• Full driving licence
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and OFSTED compliance
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team while maintaining high standards of care
