Job Title: Children’s Home Manager (Registered Manager / Deputy Manager)

Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE)
Job Description:
Are you an experienced Children’s Home Manager ready to lead a service that supports children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours? This Children’s Home Manager role in Liverpool is open to both Deputy Managers looking for the next step and experienced Registered Managers joining a forward-thinking provider. The service is currently rated Good by OFSTED, and you’ll play a key role in maintaining safe, effective, and compliant care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of a children’s home in Liverpool as a Children’s Home Manager
- Ensure the safe and effective management of the service, supporting children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours
- Work with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure compliance with OFSTED and company standards
- Manage safeguarding concerns in line with relevant policies and procedures
- Recruit, develop, and supervise the staff team to ensure child-focused support and positive outcomes
- Oversee the home’s budget and contribute to service improvement
- Maintain strong standards of care, governance, and leadership as the Children’s Home Manager in Liverpool
Requirements:
- Level 5 in leadership and management
- Level 3 in children and young people
- Driving Licence
- Deputy or Registered Manager experience
- Experience supporting children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and OFSTED compliance expectations
