Job Description:
Are you an experienced Children’s Home Manager ready to lead a service that’s currently rated Good by OFSTED? This Children’s Home Manager role in Northampton is ideal for Deputy Managers looking for the next step, or Registered Managers seeking a forward-thinking organisation. As a Children’s Home Manager in Northampton, you’ll be responsible for delivering safe, effective care and strong outcomes for children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Children’s Home Manager in Northampton, ensure the safe and effective management of a children’s home
- Support children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours, promoting positive outcomes
- Work with the RI to ensure the service is compliant with OFSTED and company standards
- Manage safeguarding concerns in line with relevant procedures
- Lead, recruit, develop and supervise the staff team to ensure child-focused support
- Manage the home’s budget effectively
- Maintain high standards of care and service delivery as a Children’s Home Manager in Northampton
Requirements:
- Level 5 in leadership and management
- Level 3 in children and young people
- Driving Licence
- Deputy or Registered Manager experience
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and OFSTED compliance
- Ability to lead a team and drive continuous improvement in a children’s home
