Job Title: Children’s Home Manager (Registered Manager)

Job Description:
Are you an experienced Children’s Home Manager ready to lead a brand new service in Liverpool? This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a newly established children’s home, supporting children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours. As a Children’s Home Manager in Liverpool, you’ll have the chance to put your stamp on the service from day one, with a supportive RI and HR team and clear pathways for training and career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a brand new children’s home as a Children’s Home Manager in Liverpool
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high-quality care for children and young people
- Support up to 3 children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours
- Promote safe, therapeutic, and outcome-focused care plans
- Work closely with the RI and HR team to embed effective practice and compliance
- Lead staff development, performance, and day-to-day supervision within the home
- Ensure the home operates in line with relevant standards and regulatory expectations
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 5 in leadership and management
- Driving licence
- Deputy or Registered Manager experience
- Strong leadership capability and confidence managing a Children’s Home Manager role in Liverpool
- Experience supporting children and young people with EBD and/or challenging behaviours (EBD/LD/ASD experience is beneficial)
This Children’s Home Manager role in Liverpool offers a full-time Monday to Friday position, 9am–5pm, with a package up to £60,000.
